Update:
The white solid turned out to be old "varnish" inside the fuel system from the bike sitting in storage with fuel in it. The detergents in the new fuel has been cleaning it off the ... |

My fuel indicator tube was also snapped but I used Epoxy to glue it back in place and so far it's still where I stuck it. Plastic metal would have been better but my tube had gone hard and useless.

Hi Anders.
I don't know whats going on here because the one on my bike is very strong and perfectly straight.
The angle of the side stand is very steep and I do have to be careful when parking ... |

Ok, this has happened about 5 times now and the fix is a relatively simple affair.
Symptoms:
The bike starts but as soon as you try and rev it, it dies.

Hi Anders,
The clutch cover *may fit* but I've now sold it so can't measure it for you. You'd need to look carefully at the water pump as it is different on the Pegasso.

Cheers Oily, I've got some Redex in there now.
Found the problem! It was caused by a brown sludgy precipitate in the petrol completely blocking the gauze filter to the fuel pump.
