And it turns out the original MK2 headlights are Cagiva Elefant 750/900...

Shocked they donít sound very common either

Mk1 headlights are the 400 type, they're smaller than the Mk2, you can use the lamps from a GSX-R 1100 either mounted on an ally plate or cut and shut the originals

Yes - I used WR450 oil seals last time from K-Tech but it's the dust seals I was interested in.
I've sent them to be done I'll ask them what they use.

BST dont make an SB6 fitment, they do SB6R but that uses an electronic speedo. I think after that there are two wheel types for Mk1 and 2 SB6.
So for carbon you're looking at Dymag.
