So my new super rare tail light has turned up, problem is it's far too new and shiny to fit !! , will have to keep it safe in its box out of harms way.

Hello
Can anybody tell me if the rear light is a bought in item ie Yamaha? or a Bimota part, mine has developed two stress cracks around the screws and I would like to replace.

I'm still a bit confused , I get that it just bolts on to bracket but what joins ether half of the fairing together at the split ??

Don't you worry the flaky paint will be sorted in good time, just bigger things to sort first ,

Didn't bother with the carpet and extra careful removal
As the bodywork is rather bashed underneath.
Just took mirrors of and mudguard and eased it off.

Screen turns out to be a yb8 and not a yb8 furano / evo.
Have contacted skidmarks to see if the will swap.
Taken fairing off today to have a good look underneath.
All looks ok just a bit grubby.
