Geoff just wondering when putting a few klms on your DB6 how do you go with the pastic swingarm guard on the left hand side were the chain rubs it, mine only seems to last a couple of hundred klms.

Michael I had exactly the same problem with my DB6R when I put a new battery in it went in to limp mode and ran really rich black smoke I had to get the computer reset a mate of mine owns a ducati sho ... |

Steve I had trouble getting the cable to work so they paid the Bimota annual subscription fee and were able to reset all the settings TPS Aif fuel mixture etc haven't taken it for a good ride yet but ... |

Just a quick note for the Australian guys DUC-PEN located in Penrith Sydney now has access to software tuning facilities for Bimota they just did my DB6R and it is running beautiful.

I am sending both the units to my suspension guy and he asked me to see where we can source parts for the Extremetech gear would put an Ohlins in it but a little pricey and considering it only has 300 ... |

Yep already had a go at that the more you raise the ride height the closer it brings the chain up to the swingarm it is now on the minimum adjustment. |

I weigh 80kg I have the preload adjuster on the rear wound fully compressed to reduce the suspension travel to help stop the rubbing I lube the chain regularly and only have 30mm of play in the chain ... |
