Had time this morning to have a good look, I had disconnected the battery in the hope it might be an ecu problem but in the end it was a wire. It looks like a coil pack and there’s one each ... |

Guess if one pipe red hot and running rough you have a fuel issue to that pot.
Temp sender on the air cooled twins is not going to be very accurate and is engine block not individual pots.

Maybe a faulty sensor has put it into a ‘limp’ mode?
Was it actually hot, or just hot pipes? Maybe running lean for some reason
