Hey Guys,

I have offers for a HB2 and SB5, the SB5 being around 3000 EUR cheaper. as i know those bikes are pretty similar apart from the engine... which one should i go for?

The SB5 is up for 9 ...

ok guys, its running again, i took it to Armin and he put the carbs right , changed the plugs and also some oterh stuff.
now i hope it will keep running.

although i did not mamange to do it myself ...

ok, i notived that at least one of the carbs is leaking from the Reservoir. so any way i Need to take them off.

Problem is : i dont have a clue how to get them out? i mean it is not possible to acc ...

I noticed that it is better as long as the machine is still cold and gets worse when the bike gets warmer.

Is that logical ? I am not sure

The liqui moly did not really help... let’s try the other now ...

I was wondering why no one mentioned the spark plugs... is there a reason for this ?

Are you sure the whole bottle for just 4 Litres of fuel ? Isn’t that too much?

well yes its a carb cleaner that SHOULD work by just putting it in the fuel.

i mean it is worth a try. i guess if the jets are really heavy blocked it wont work but for the money its worth a try. ...

Yes I have 102 fuel in it.
I also thought of trying carb cleaner additive before pulling the carbs out and cleaning them which is a lot of work.

ok, i have some news:

I changed:

- the fuel pump
- the fuel pump relais
some routing

Good news:

The Bike is running!

Bad News: i have the problem with riding with revs below 4k.

i still change the pump now, since i have to rule this out,

if i can rule out pump and fuel hoses, then it must be carbs.

Hmm seems not over yet ...

Stupid question : when the carburetors are full , will the fuel pump tick anyway at starting for 5 seconds ? Or not ?
