It's time to have a go at the valve clearances, is this possible without taking the engine out ?

Well that's a great idea but I can't do that cos a 'helpful' friend has already cut and removed the offending cable.

Next time though.....

It's not the access that's a problem, it's that the gap is only just large enough for the cable itself meaning that neither end with nuts and adjusters fit through.

So, now I find I have a frayed cable I need to replace that serves the EXUP valve. It runs tight in between the engine and the front of the swinging arm.... anybody done one of these ?

Popped to my mates, got a selection of sockets (I have 3/4 sockets, but no 18mm !!) and with the help of my wobble bars and having used up half of the english swear words I'm 3 down, 1 to go.

Length of standard fit bimota front brake lines (from centre of banjo bolt):

Top line 350mm
Both bottom lines 460mm

There is no fixing to the triple clamp or fork tube, the whole assembly sits ...

Boy it looks tight in there. Is t possible to change the plugs without taking the whole thing apart ? Looks to me like you have to drop the engine.....

OK, so if we're going to start talking about the 7...... does anyone think that this one is one of the original rare blue ones, or, as I suspect would it have to have gold pin stripes like the red one ...

I have got the original 400 motor carbs and frame dropouts though Laughing

It IS a tight squeeze and requires modified front frame dropouts to the front of the engine and a different radiator...... I don't know what it's off though, I got it trawling through a breakers.
