If the deal comes off, no TS400K, and another L-twin in my garage _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.
Beta Techno trials iron. Project bikes:- Suzuki V4 500, TS185 cafe racer, XR11/71, Kettle/Katana, TDRGV250, OR50, Gag125,Triumph T595 and a Triumph X75 Hurricane replica.
Too many projects............... |

It shouldn't have those discs though if an early one, should be full floaters cast iron jobbies..... |

I think thats an age and mileage thing. Once the originals have worn then the options are many, nice to have fully original but never a deal breaker for me as long as they work. I may have some floaters hanging around gaz, I'll have a rummage when I get back which gives you 4 weeks to sort the deal! _________________ Pomps

Always had a weather eye open for a nice TL1000 but it's these rattly italian twins keep putting me off
Ridden just about most of the sports V twins(and a few customs) and just can't see what the big attraction is unless it's just the vibration and noise that does it for you _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Same as surfers, its the difference between classic long board and short board. Grace , skill, sweeping lines, corner and exit speed versus, short grabby lines, point and squirt easy peasy , yappy, annoying two a penny etc etc.... _________________ Pomps

So the v twins are short grabby lines, point and squirt easy peasy , yappy, annoying two a penny etc etc?

I love lighting the blue touch paper but prefer nowadays to stand back and watch the fireworks, but I'll chuck the odd banger in from time to time if thats OK? |
