Can anyone guide me to the right company that restores a SB-2 suede seat? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

George Villar

hi George
You would probably be served well by finding a shop that restores old cars. Lots of 70's cars used suede on the dash top.
Also you might want to consider using Alcantara instead of real suede because it's much better lasting; used almost universally these days instead of suede.
If you don't actually have a seat to restore or the condition is too shot, then try to get a sample to copy- the Bimota spirit people have an SB2, maybe they could lend it to you (the seat).
My experience of saddlers here is that they are genius's, they never fail to impress with their skills, I hope it's the same for you.
good luck
Ian

George,
I have had an 1972 MV Agusta seat completely done by Eldorado seat restorations here in Australia. As you can understand this was not an easy job. The work was faultless but expensive. The seat was done 2 years ago so I don't know if they are still operating. If you are interested I will chase them up for you.

George,
The owner is Tony O'Connor. His e-mail contact is motorcycleseats@bigpond.com.au His business address is:-
86 Picadilly Rd.,
Crafers.
South Australia 5152
Ph (0Cool 8339 4234
I can't promise you whether he will take the job on or not, but I rather think he will. I believe he enjoyed the challenge of my MV seat .

If you would like to see the work he did on my seat contact me at:-
nimackay@bigpond.net.au and I will send some before/after photos direct to you.

George,
How did you go with the seat?
