Hello,
it's remarkable how little actual carbon fibre is in a standard SB6 fairing

Yep your right, contrary to popular belief, they are NOT made from carbon or any other exotic fibre _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)
Sb6 mk2 ( Big Bore)

I remember reading in a test that the bodtwork is a fibreglass carbon fibre composite.
