I own a modified YB8 (streetfighter) that a friend of mine built a few years ago.
He took a mold of the tank seat unit and made his own.
He had made a new top yoke to his own design and made various brackets himself (he's a draftman) so the bike's not a lash up.
I bought it off him two years ago, I can honestly say its one of the best handling bikes I've ever owned (and I've owned a few). Its far more comfortable than the YB6 I used to own, down to the fact its got renthal bars.
Was thinking of selling it, to fund a chop project, but took it out last week, and decided against it, its just too good, I'll have to fund the chop project with something else. |
