Hi guys,
I'll own up now....I don't have a Bimota. There I've done it.
I do however have a few other motorcycles. Gen2 Tuono Factory, 916, and a early Fireblade. I have been runnning about on motorcycles for almost 30yrs and love the thrill of a good blast down my favourite road.
Bikes for the past.........gee! GSX250, DT175MX, 2 x MkI Le Mans, Z650, GS650 Katana, 250 Superdream, FZ750...to name a few.
I am now thinking of buying a Bimota. I fancy an SB6 or a SB8R. However, I can see that there are many more models out there to choose from.
I will be following the forum to see if I can pick up any hints on what to go for.
Cheers

Hi TFM and Welcome to the Forum, I can see you are a bit of a twin fan with the odd H***DA in line 4, so theres plenty of choice, careful though, Bimota Ownership can be addictive, partly because they ask you to devote so much of your time toward them that the bonding process kicks in real early. Best of luck, won't offer advice on SB6, theres plenty on here more knowledgable than me on that front ever willing to help |

Hopefully you will find all you need to select your perfect partner on the forum, but be warned , if you think a 916 is 'challenging' to work on, you are in for a big surprise.
However with the pain comes great rewards.Bimota ownership is addictive.
What part of the world are you from ? |

I'll second that, of course should you happen across any really nice ones going cheap, steer well clear, but be sure to let us all know where they are
If you are after any "leads" as to where to locate, then give us a shout, all depends on your budget and whether you are prepared to import from outside of the UK also. Lot easier than it sounds, and gets you away from roamin in the gloamin for a few days in the midggey free sun |
