The SB6 was from an earlier part of my life, and I have moved on since then The YB11 was me trying to cling to the 4cyl slant after getting the DB4. But I have had to accept, and am man enough to admit , I like it both ways
Oily , you are living in denial , go on admit it , we are all ' friends ' here |

Believe me, I would admit it if I thought it was right but anyone who says their UNDERPOWERED motorcycle is plenty enough for the road, is either very old or a women or perhaps both but as all the real men know......... you just can't have enough power....too much is never enough
Lets face it, comparing the performance of different bikes and the "down the pub" BS is exactly that.
An excellent rider on a crap bike will always out perform a crap rider on an excellent bike (unless it is an underpowered Italian engine and then it's debatable if it'll even get home) _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Hey, not my fault I can keep with Gixer's etc on an underpowered bike. Yes given a mile straight they will hit warp drive and annihilate me, but why would I be on a mile straight road.

Made me laugh
You are a liberated man though Pomp's, looking at your bike list, I loved my 888's, wish I had never sold them now. Man's bike, big and raw, none of this slipper clutch stuff. People used to hate my SP3, would spit flames on the over run, due the the corsa cams. Why did I ever sell that bike ? |

WOW Vort,
That SB8 What a great bike.
Obviously the euro debt crisis we keep hearing about down here is a myth!
Or is the debt crisis responsible for many Bimotas now being up for sale?
I had a look on UK eBay, you guys suck! Talk about spoiled for choice.
Down here we get nuthin.. though there is a nice Tesi listed at the moment.
Big congrats Vort, lovely bikes. _________________ Cheers

Euro debt is probably the reason they were for sale, got them from Italy which seems to be in a bad way and lots of Bimota's up for VERY reasonable prices. Got the vdue and SM from the same collector, VERY good deal, he needed the money to fund his HB4 race team. What a shame, must be hard for some. |

Despite it being Italian AND having panniers and I'm not an "excellent rider", I've embarrassed a lot of people on much newer, faster, more powerful, and sportier bikes with this....

Now thats a picture you don't see every day.
Always makes a ride far more enjoyable when you can embarrass the pocket rocket demons. |
