Apologies if my search abilities have failed miserably and its been covered already, but is there a workshop manual online anywhere.

Being a complete mechanical muppet I'm not going to attempt to rebalance my gangleshaft, or shimy up my tuppits, but it would be good to know how to get at the battery, etc!

In fact this will be the first task - getting to the battery to hook it up to a optimate! Understand its under the tank but what needs to come off to get to it!

Confused

SB6R battery is under the carbon cover at the front of the tank Wink
2 X small, countersunk, allen head bolts, take cover off and there's the battery
Wink

If you need pictures, shout up and I'll sort some in the morning Wink

Hey oily, what's different about the 6R that allows the battery to be mounted at the front of the tank?

The 6R has a ram air system which in turns mean Bimota redesigned the bike from the top of the engine up. The tank and seat unit are separate the battery was relocated the fairing / clocks / headlight changed and the swingarm is longer and stiffer

No worries thanks fellas. Is the exhaust different too or is it just an optical illusion because the bodywork is different?
