My db4 would benefit from an electric fuel pump too. Under 'normal' riding conditions it's not noticable but i've noticed on a few occasions when it is pinned on WOT for 10 seconds or so it starves for juice. It then takes a few seconds to recover after backing off.
Thisis the pump that i need for my ZXR750 and i guess it would be suitable for the db as well.

Yo guys, just to confirm. The MIKUNI DF44-210 is mounted and it works fantastic!!! The bike has a rocksteady regular gas when I hold the throttle still at one speed (what was before impossible). The bike is absolutely like new. No misfires anymore, no puffs when cold, no fuel odours, no nothing... A dream, really!
By the way, I didn't go for the electric pump because my meccanic did not advise that. He stated some downfalls that were too technical to understand but he convinced me right away to put the Mikuni instead. And he was right again. |
