Mine are fitted. The look is growing on me but i guess it's about the 'protection'. Putting both bims in a local bike show this weekend so will see how the bike looks amoungst other bikes. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I used clear silastic to attach them. Probably used too much but don't want them coming loose at light speed. I hope the silastic doesn't stain the frame.
It was easy enough to make the holes for the frame plugs. Originally i was going to leave the protectors complete, but decided to cut the holes as it will save removing them when it comes time to drop the engine. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Looking good, does that mean the right side heel plate has also now been dropped off for production runs???
I was liking the look of the original red one, as it would now match my frame that backdrops against it |

I received my parcel of carbon goodies today and I'd like to thank all those involved in their production. I intend to nail them to the bike this weekend! Cheers

I've just received the frame protectors….. they look great.
Excellent job
Thanks to morepower and oily.
With a bit of luck I have the carb parts at the end of the week. So I can install the parts and the frame protectors and make finally some kilometres.
