so got the papers back from DVLA today, all ready to roll, and the friggin roads wet! Should have the papers back for the USD bike by the w/e, but still awaiting the belts on that
10/10 for DVLA, only in there 5mins on first visit and only 10 mins today and that involved filling out the forms too!
Worcester DVLA recommended!

So took the M1R bike for a spin last night. 'twas 10.30 pm, roads damp, first impressions were the friggin lights are awful. Worse than the candles on my mountain bike! Brakes good, but by jeez it's a heavy old lump, around 215kg on the dutch logbook. Tank is wide. Forks too much compression, brakes good. Fueling seems ok, not bad by any means, couldn't give it the beans due to dark roads, no lights and no no plate either!
It feels special, and hopefully when Sunday comes i'll get a decent run out on it later in the day. The missus is away and I have the boys for the w/e. No sidecar!

The good news is the paperwork which I took in to DVLA at 4.50pm pon Wed arrived in the mail today. So both bikes fully road legal! And they're on sequntial plates too! just one number different!
So just need to get the belts done now on ther USD bike and get it started
