|
|
I was out riding the other day and decided I would prefer my rear brake pedal a little lower, so took a look and saw the beautiful alloy cam provided to adjust the pedal height but there is no adjustment to match on the rod connecting to the rear master cylinder ?
Am I missing something

The adjustment on the rod is the two nuts just above the bearing head isn't it?
Looks like you have a couple of threads left downwards which will raise the rod further up and your peddle down ... _________________ Pomps

...You could always shave a couple of mm of the end of the rod which would probably equate to a couple of inches at the pedal end...then you'll have plenty of adjustment left _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

I think I might just leave it alone
Shaving is something I only do in the bathroom
Bimota go to all that trouble to make a nice adjustment cam but you carnt
use it.

...The cam is only to adjust the return....
If it wasn't there, the peddle would shoot up and the piston might drop out of the master cylinder _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Maybe renew the rose joint or look at the master cylinder _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
