Engine tuning delivers a diminishing return the higher it gets. So to get the first 10 bhp its relatively easy the next 10 is harder but the 10 after that is much more difficult ... and expensive. There comes a point where the engine won't givev any more with natural aspiration and you need to turbo / super charge or use nitros ... and you'd need it all with a sympathetic dunk to achieve 200 _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

200 is easily achievable on the gsxr1100 see big cc racing site for proof but the one shown had no sign of a turbo . |

With a turbo ,yes .with serious work 400 bhp, note i never said cheaply ! There was a guy in the southern u.s with a turbo'd sb6 running silly hp figures some years back i think it was featured in streetfighters mag .

For £400 you can't even get the 'T' of a turbo install. Never mind the repair bill after it eats itself! _________________ It's mine and I'll wash it as fast as I like! |

Let's face it...anything is possible if you have enough money.....
back to the original post
As the owner of two "big bore" SB6's I seriously doubt that the aforementioned 6R is anything like 200bhp. _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)
