Eventually got the bike mot'd today with all usual low issues coming up. The most recent was fuel pissing out the carb. So bit of crap no doubt or ethanol gel in the float valve.
anyway as it's now eventually run in, gave it some beans and it won't rev above about 8000rpm.
I have a sneaky feeling Nige said the servo cables for the PV are the incorrect way round in the manual. But I can't remember fully.
Any clues on how to diagnose etc would be really helpful as I think this is probably the most likely issue at this point in time. Has JM pipes but not sure if it has been set-up mapping and carb wise for them by Piero to be honest as he said to keep it as is.....
Cheers,
Chris

brand new denso iridium in there Trev....
it's almost like the choke is on or something like that.....
Have never given it full beans until yday/today as it's only now just run in.
So I've no idea if it's really been set up correctly to be honest.
Anyone got carb settings for JM pipes as could start there....

Hi Chris
Try going back to standard plugs. Mine is a corsa track model but now has JM pipes. It does run rich from a couple of plug chops I did and I found the iridium plugs fouled easier than standard. Also check the choke cables as they are a shocking fit in the splitter - I've taped mine up so they don't come loose and leave one cylinder on choke. You will see this with a plug chop

Could well be the choke. As it starts now with no choke at all.

I'm with Nige on this one the cables can come out of the splitter, then jam and not seat properly
