That front shock setup is defo for a 4cylinder, just hope the styling is better than the BB2 Katana thing.
And did I read that link right Cranky , the DB11 has a superchugger strapped to it  Oh my  |

yes, seems to be a supercharger
strange too, that some blog in Japan has stuff on it that wasn't seen here yet!

... this is a projekt for moto2, but nobody, even in Rimini, wether it becomes reality

Yes the problem is the front tyres. Because the Tesi frame doesn't dive under brakes it doesn't squash the tyre, which in turn doesn't get (or keep) any heat into the front. For this to work it would have to have a different to the control tyres.

But even if it doesn't dive- wouldn't there still be the same pressure (weight) on the front tyre- with the same decceleration??
They should be able to tune in a bit of dive anyway?

...Of course it'll squash the tyre under braking.....basic physics/weight transference/newtons law of gravity and Shrecks law of the swamp dictate it will squash the tyre under braking.

Alto Racing say different. I spoke to them last year when they were thinking to race the Vyrus in Moto2.
The pressent tyres are set up for forks so unless Dorna allow a dispensation and a new tyre is developed the Moto2 project is a bit of a non starter

Ah ha....so not the faeries then
I'll grant you the forces generated are slightly different and tyre technology is improving all the time but....if they can't keep heat in a race tyre, that means the design is soooo efficient that there's next to zero friction/contact with the ground?
Or
They just aint close enough to the edge
