New to the board but not to Bimotas. Its taken me way to long to get on here! Originally from England now live in GA, I've been collecting , restoring and more recently racing motorycles since the 70's. I've owned several Bimotas over the years, YB11, SB6R, Tesi 1D SR, YB10, YB7, YB6, DB2 400, DB1. Now I have a beautiful DB4 injected (as of yesterday) , and another YB11 fitted with an Attack ex-race engine 168 rwhp and modified suspension (because it needs it badly!) and another YB11 in bits that I'm deciding whether to break up and sell or to build into a custom. I also have Ducatis and MV Agustas amongst the collection. Looking forward to spending time on here! Cheers

Nice choice of bikes Corse... seems to be a common thread amongst our merry band. Georgia is a great spot to live to. If I went back to the states it would be on the short list for sure. Glad you made it to the forum in the end! _________________ Pomps

Its not a bad place really, I've been here for 20yrs came straight from North London but lived in Peterborough for the first 18yrs of my life. I miss some of it but the weather and roads here are glorious...its hard to beat. Mind you a pint down the local at this time of year would be a welcoming experience too! |

G'day there Corse. Great list of bikes you have there mate. Some more pics would go down well. There's a thread in Bimota chat called 'post a picture of your bimota'. Plenty of good pics there and a good place to put yours too. Cool! Have you raced at Phillip Island before? If not, you're going to love it. It's an amazing circuit. It's just recently been resurfaced so hopefully it will be ok and hopefully the weather will be nice. I was there in October for the MotoGP and had a great time. What will you be racing there?? _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

We have sent over two ex-AMA/CCS championship racebikes that I had completely restored this year. An 83 Honda CB1100F and a 86 Suzuki GSXR750. Along with the original racer than won on them. We are part of a 18 man US Team. Most of the other bikes will be smokers like the TZ750 and a couple of other muscle bikes like a Z1 and GS1000E. Never raced there before and never ridden the bikes as we just finished the GSXR750 after 16yrs laying dormant the night it had to be crated and shipped! |
