Cagiva Mito had a matt black bike that looked great. If you put plenty of clear over the black that would look good and make cleaning easy. Wheel colour would be important...maybe silver. Another dark combination is the Ducati Senna 916 with red wheels. I think gold would have looked better on this bike. The hard part is working what highlighting should go on the body work and also where it would be placed. Good luck and please post your results.

Blimey! That will confuse them! tank and tail seem to fit fine but it took a while for me to work out the front cone? Then I spotted the flat bars which seem to have lifted the nose to high I think? I think the line of the nose would be better if you could trim the bottom even higher like a 900ss half fairing. It would show more of the tesi underneath, lower the profile to help wind resistance and line up better with tank and tail. As for colours the Senna idea is a good one... 10 out of 10 for vision and effort! _________________ Pomps

that just looks so wrong - sorry.
The Tesi 2 & 3 have aircooled engines, which is why they weren't fully enclosed like the watercooled Tesi 1.

I think it will tie in once all three body parts are the same colour whatever you choose. How about white with red striping down the center line and of course a touch of green?
option? by pompstar, on Flickr
I have a set of the seat and nose from the above bike to put on my db5 when I finally get around to doing it. The white goes well I think.

I like that matt black bodywork. I like the cut out to bring in line with the tank and have the front spring on show. You could do that with chopping the 888 nose down even smaller and lowering it a bit... _________________ Pomps
