Makes my post it note with 'Yamaha Bimota' look a bit inferior now. I even used a highlighter pen to write them and selotape backup in case they fell off.

No worries. I've been working in Glasgow for the last 12 weeks, apart from weekends, so I've not been at my office computer to check my emails.
I've got tomorrow booked off work, I travelled back from Glasgow last night. I'll prepare the bikes as best as I can in the time available.
I was going to ride three over (with friends riding them) but the plan is to stick them in two vans now. I have managed to get three of my paddock stands blasted and enamelled, the other will have to have a coat of black paint. _________________ Bimotas, Yamaha FZR 2TK, Honda NC30, MV Agusta F3 800, Aprilia RS250 |

Thank goodness lammie,,,,I'd been looking at the weather reports and was shuddering at the mere prospect of you all riding across, a great prospect and idea, yet again shattered by the vagueness of the British weather

The weather report of 90% chance of snow and -1 deg put me off. Until then we were all set to ride them!!
I've managed to get this afternoon off work, maybe a little spin on the VFR. _________________ Bimotas, Yamaha FZR 2TK, Honda NC30, MV Agusta F3 800, Aprilia RS250 |

Well that was a tricky drive back!
Got home about 10 minutes ago after making the wrong decision on the route back. We came through Buxton to Ashbourne on the A515. I have never witnessed, or driven, in conditions so bad. The drifts were nearly as tall as me and the visibility at zero. Too many cars in ditches and abandoned to count. We got pulled up one hill by one of the snow ploughs. Even the van didn't have enough ground clearance for the depth of snow and bottomed out several times.
Might stick to the motorway next time! _________________ Bimotas, Yamaha FZR 2TK, Honda NC30, MV Agusta F3 800, Aprilia RS250 |

Looks like Manchester is the only place that it was'nt snowing. Got a few miles out going west and was snowing hard also.
Hopefully 2bims,GK and Nige did'nt have to heavy a night last night and will be in top from for the punters, although still not sure which one on them is going to be the model on the bikes that is not going to be pretty. |
