Try a classic insurance policy, Footman James or similar.
You must have a garage or lockable shed though. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

The " James " part has his own company now called Peter James and they are great. All of my bikes fully comp, recovery and euro cover for less then 300! _________________ Pomps

I'm with Peter James on a multi bike policy.... Far better than anywhere else, and really easy to deal with. |

Will have to give them a try.
Bennets have declined to renew my policy as the SB6 does not have an alarm fitted.
On a side note what alarms are you using on them and where are you finding room on an SB6.
If you could message me with any alarm info please (not suitable for open forum)

As the other guys say Si try the other companies, if trying FJ be sure to ask for multibike classics, Bimota classify as Classic from 10 years and over and not the usual 15, and you can have 50:50 on a multi classics, i.e. up to 50% number of bikes Classic, and the others modern. If they dont register the 10 year rule for Bimotas, then ask them to speak to Admin, as its not a common know fact at FJ, have issue all the time when I add a bike to my policy..
Best of luck |

Isn't the SB6 one of the highest insurance groups though ? _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Yes they are in the high risk category, but this is not due to bike value, this is due to cost and availability of spares. i.e if fully comp and bike is "damaged" , cost of replacing fairing and tank/seat unit against value of bike will have an insurance company wright off bike as repair exceeds round 70 % of bike market value.
Purely as an interest to myself , I worked out that, probably in most bike cases, if you were to attempt to build a bike with entirely new spares, the cost would be 2 to 3 times the cost of a brand new machine.
Kind of lets you understand why so many bikes get stolen, and why insurance companies normally request so many security precautions
bike alarms, garaged when not in use, datatagged, bike locks ,etc.
One guy I know has 28 bikes, not one of them valued at less than 8k
none of then are insured, but you should see his shotgun collection !!! _________________ Marty

A new fairing was priced at £2600 I think ... although they do come painted and stickered. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
