Not good first impression then Brian Confused , hope you did'nt sacrifice to much with the other half to get the parcel open .

Oh well, I'm still hopeful Stu. I'll fit it up and decide whether to keep it or not. Might end up getting the original bellypan repaired properly and repainted. Will see what happens.

All good with the wife... she puts up with a lot Very Happy

Feeling better about the carbon bellypan now. I pretty much fitted it today. Have fitted it to the side fairings but still have to fit the fasteners to join the 2 halves together. It looks like it will fit ok but not perfect. The original didn't exactly fit perfectly anyway. I'll post some pics when it's finished.

Finished fitting the belly pan today. I'm happy with the fit. The finish is ok if you don't look too close. Overall I'm happy with it.

No chance of salvaging my original bellypan now. I went for a ride last weekend and lost a part of it Crying or Very sad . Only about 6" of the rear lower R/H side. It was fairly badly cracked.

Yeah gotta be girlies in the shed... only scantly clad ones on the wall though Laughing

I'm quite happy with the bellypan now that it's on. Ties in nicely with the other carbon bits... gaurds, clutch cover and the can.

bimototo... sorry for hijacking your thread. I was going to start a new thread a couple times but thought this was as good a place as any to continue the carbon fibre bodywork story.
