The bike is 6 months too new for the pre-89 import scheme, so the import approval is as a race bike only. I tried for road approval but could n't get it.

I must say:

1. Cool bike!
2. Kudos to the man secure enough in his "manhood" to ride a pink bike. Wink

3. ON THE TRACK WITH 10 YEAR OLD TIRES (TYRES)??????? Shocked

(said from a guy who raced his bike on the track and charged up canyons 100s of times with a lower triple clamp repaired with JB Weld. Shocked

.....and finally (in jest).
Don't they have "Mental Health Clinics" over there???? Laughing

Hi Bud, nicely equipped YB you have there. It's quite eligible for P6 racing as well, being a YB6 exup essentially. I've just started on a YB for track (P6) as well, so might see you around the traps. Cheers,

I'm in Melbourne Lech. And yes the NZ company is a bit $$. It's very complex bodywork, and in some ways the price tag is justified. Like yourself I'm going to make a set of moulds. I have a YB6-8 exup main fairing to mould off, just waiting for a seat unit to become available. Cheers,

Cook it in your tyre warmers for a couple of weeks and it will be fine Rolling Eyes

It's a 1987 FZR1000. My warmers only heat to 70 degrees. It's just an old tyre that doesn't like being spun up. I'm sure there is one more practice day left in it. Rolling Eyes
