would spares be really that bad to get? if it was stripped back to the frame and repaired with similiar parts from a yamaha and painted like a bimota would i not be classed as a bimota owner??

If the frame was ok then it may have been worth a punt. Even the seller admits massive damage to the frame. Don't touch it. It's hard enough with good bims let alone trashed ones.

I would take the chance if the price was low. I bid £12.34 Laughing

Frame might be repairable, but not sure I would rely on that without a serious check. Getting hold of bodywork would be difficult (not sure if anyone makes any), although if you are not worried about originality you could possible use some Airtech Dieci bodywork (not cheap and a fair few mods would be required). Front subframe might be similar enough to the YB4, and one of those for sale on here now. Clocks were Yamaha items. For the bars you can probably use some generic clipons.

Returning it to good standard condition would be hideously expensive, but getting it usable would be affordable. But probably most likely to be used as spares.

Poor thing.

All the best

Keith

It would cost more to get that on the road than it would to simply buy a good one.

Bit of filler in the frame and some wheel paint Smile A Sachsenring special (happy steering on one side)
