As pictures are showing …. That’s what I did to my airbox.
I did this modification 7 months ago. In that time a made about 3000 km.
Filter surface area has been increased by almost 40%.
The findings so far are that the bike runs perfectly no flat spot any more.
Faster in acceleration in all gears. (1 and 2e gear power wheelies)
5 gear 120 km/h full throttle, direct response rapid acceleration through the revs.
Did the test against a Z1000 03 and R1 04 and in both cases the Bim was the fastest.
I am very satisfied and do not have the need to change something now to the carbs.

I don’t have test results from the dyno no numbers to compare. Maybe next year.
