Yeh I caught it...an original S plated model....they often forgot to blank out the reg Number....seems to have original tyres on it so methinks he doesnt use it much....and looks like a standard fuel injected model???..Was nice to see a Bimota on TV though...free advertising |

Yep, the guy who blanks out the number plate needs to try harder next time!
Couldn't work out what the other bike he had in the house was though? |

there was a bike in his lounge as well as the Kitchen - re-wound and paused to try and spy what it was - then had to endure my other half calling me sad
can't believe it'll be the last time in the series he'll be having a cuppa in his kitchen, so eyes peeled |

I think the other bike is a 500bhp gixxer-based special he's built _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

On an odd note. I wonder why Guy is wearing a wooly hat with the Royal Marine Corps colours on it? _________________ Pomps

Yeh...looking forward to it....early preview is hes using a 2-stroke crosser methinks...with a ribbed back tyre and pontoons strapped to the side.....attempting to cross a lake...seen something similar on top gear done with a standard Snowmobile....just gun it and go for it or sinking occurs.... |

...bike sinks completely 30m deep. They pump the water out and it's working again. 2-strokes are simply amazing... _________________ Bimota DB7, Bimota DB5 Mille, Ducati 916, Ducati M900, Benelli Tornado Tre |

Ah.........my slight mistake when I caught an advert for it......He used a DRZ Suzuki 400.......So a single cylinder 4-stroke......but still a credible go.....managed 65 metres eventually before he sank going over the handlebars......again.
Used to have a KDX200 Enduro bike that I rode around Loch Lomond Many many years ago...used to ride into the lake and many river crossings...sinking it many times.........Pull the plug kick start the water out, dry plug and kick it back into life again...always worked...minimal electrics to go wrong....Bimota could learn a lot......always wondered why my gearbox oil was so milky all the time...darn thing kept going whenever I wanted it to though......... |
