Hello Waggy,
looking at Sarti's book, the HB2 didn't seem to be fitted with indicators as standard. I suppose CB900 indicators might be possible as its the donor bike?

I got my retro indicators from Armin at DTR. They weren't cheap but are the correct CEV housebrick size ones for the period. I made the extenders myself as the wires go in a hole in the frame and out of the middle of the fairing mount tubes. Or you can buy the fairing support/indicators extenders he has on his site if you are feeling extra flush
top view - nice and neat
I'll pm you a sketch of what I did if you want. Are the front fairing bolts hollow on the HB?? _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Many thanks lads for your help, luckily mine came with front fairing bolts for indicators but no indicators. I recall seeing a HB2 with nice chrome indicators, would be very interested if you can dig out details of that catalogue you mentioned 2bims.
Nige the front fairing bolts are hollow, but I can see no holes in the frame for wiring, instead there is holes in the bolts. How indicators attach to these bolts I am not sure, but the groove in the bolt suggests some sort of a clamp?

Hi Waggy -looks like these parts have saved you a few quid. The indicators I got have a flat plate in them which clamps up onto the round stem. I guess each indicator will have its own way of fastening. The hole in my frame was on the tube which connects the left and right front fairing mounts. It was quite a small hole 4-6mm? but I did find old wires in it. It also keeps it nice and tidy. _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |
