don't think they went for those prices Oily - when I spoke with Nick this morning about the DB2, he was considering a bid in excess of what I would have offered (which itself was considerably more than the advertised price!). And he was aware from the interest shown that he had seriously undervalued them.
c'est la vie. |

sorry to say guys, it was me that picked them up, made the deal at 12, and was vanning down to london, back in manchester at 2am thursday morning.
Both have had a quick clean as they were "crying" and looking sorry.
Previous owner happy for them to go to a good home and be brought back to life.
Now going to need lots of help to all out there to get them breathing again!
First thing is what "donor" Ducati was used for the front disc rotors? as I am needing a pair with right offset
Previous owner a really great guy to meet up with, brought his wife down as well to meet the "northern" lads. The DB2 for myself, Ducati fan, the YB11 for my brother who donated his time and van for collection |

Those arent std YB11 discs. Std ones are identical to the ones on my Ducati 900 Superlight (1994)
Bargain there, i'd pay that for those. Panel should be easy enough to get painted too _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |

Thanks for the notes guys, but looking for what type of Ducati the front rotors would have come from, its a 1994 DB2 that I have, all archive pictures show triangular inner sections on the rotors and 2,1,1,2 hole arrangement on the cast iron part.
Wanting to put the bike back to standard. "Gold" wheels going off for white powder coating.
Other than engine and exhaust upgrades, shes standard. Has full titanium exhaust system, big bore 944 kit, and flat slide Kehnin FCR41 carbs/ The paoli forks look odd though. They are bare polished ends and tops (not gold), and a different casting to what I've seen before.
Have taken photos now that shes clean again. And will upload tomorrow hopefully |

I believe the early disc's are as the early sb6 one's , quite a big offset.
Don't know if they were actually fitted to any Duc model. The later bikes with Antera wheels are all 916 discs.
I can measure the early sb6's one's I have , so you know what you are looking for , if your interested.
Got to say , you lucky, lucky , B'stard . There was a que of people after those.
Oh and if anyone wants some nice new 916 ebc racing disc's , I have a spare 3 sets. |

EBC Prolite Race , alloy carrier , with high carbon rotor , bit like cast iron brembo's , but without the cracking issue. |

Reason I ask is, looking on EBC's website, I could only find the two aformentiond race disc's and the super sports were specificaly Not for highway use
My dealings with EBC are very limited and not too happy
Saying that, their price is always right.
Do you use them? |

I have used EBC , no real problems using them on the road , brembo cast rotors are for race use only as well. Or so they say on the box.
Had issues with brembo warping in the past , and as you say , EBC are circa 250-300 a pair new and brembo's circa 400 pair.
There was a set of Brembo cast iron on ebay last week , went for 250ish second hand.
EBC dont have the same rattle as brembo's though , which you either love or hate , me I love it. |
