Does anybody have experience with this seller?
He doesn't seem to respond very well to my latest e-mails. Also there are some issues to resolve regarding to a previous transaction, but he just wraps himself in silence......... _________________ Track riding on a Bimota: FUN! |

Yes, I do.
When this Ad was fresh (3 or 4 years ago !!)
His name is Dean, and I bought some of these parts from him, and a few DB4 fairing and fender bits. Probably around 1000US dollars in total.
He was great to deal with: responsive, honest and extremely knowledgeable on Bimotas. Parts were exactly as described, even the used ones, and well packed... I learnt a lot from him, and,as you can tell, recommend him. I fact I sent the new owner of my Mantra to him for parts.
A little history as I understand it: this stock of parts came from Bob Smith, the US Bimota Importer in Pennslvania, when he retired (probably around 2004-ish). Dean bought a job-lot and used some on his DB4 (and sold some to me).
I think he eventually sold the remaining parts to Bob Steinbugler of Bimota Spirit (in North Carolina). He'd be your best bet to follow-up on any of these bits (Google will find him).
And if you're really, really stuck (as in off-the-road) for DB4 bits send me a message. I have a few parts I would spare for a good cause.

ex-Mantra owner, and proud of it !!
2008 Moto Guzzi Griso 1100. Weighs as much as 3 Bimotas, but is somehow still fun... |
