Hi Norbo..........How'd you get on at the show?

I think we missed the "awards" ceremony again this year....so have no idea who won what....ruddy PA system was pants...couldnt hear a word.........the only words we did here were..."Please do not start your engines!!!"....It seems that although we couldnt hear them they could here the morning cackle of a Jolly Moto Piped Vdue..... Laughing Laughing Laughing

Heard rumour that some scooted boys got Best Club Stand? Any idea of anything else that won anything?

Certainly not the Coffee Bars thats for sure...Unless there was an award for "best putrified Dish Water"....... Shocked

Yes some scooter club . and second place went to a Honda club .

very strange the scooter club was just a ring of bikes on the concrete with 3 banners nothing special at all and so was the Honda club . they looked very ordinary. so don't know what the hell was going on there . when you look at how nice the wing boys stand was and our UK 2 stroke stand it makes me wonder if they even looked at that end of the hall . Still our stand bikes did get 2 trophy's so the owners were very happy and that's what its all about having fun and enjoying the weekend and as nether had ever won anything before they went away with an extra special memory of the weekend.t

Good stuff Norbo....what bikes on your stand won what then? I thought they were only doing best clubs...but seeing as we've never know they were giving awards we've no idea of what awards they were giving anyhow...I suppose they may like to give to different clubs each year and spread that "special" feeling around each time....not so fussed....its good just to show the bikes and meet the people that come out of the woodwork and make their way down each year...

a 350ypvs special and a GT750 got prizers . If you win anything they put a sheet on your bike saying you have won a prize and go to the stage at what ever time they do it .
