Ok guys...longer lighter nights upon us...drier and warmer weather...and only 7 weeks until TT week Isle of Man..........Hands up whos going and when and on what so that I can look out for you?
I'm going over 31st May to 4th June...staying in Douglas....together with Vort and GeeKay.........steeds uncertain at present whilst fettling goes on.......DB5R for me though
Have to try for a meet up and see if we can get more than 4 Bimotas together out and about on the road...... |

Soz Geekay......Vorts claimed that provisionally pending resurrection and successful trials of his YB11...currently undrgoing Open Heart Surgery.....aside from that Db2 and DB4 are back-ups ...strangely Vdue seemingly missing from the list......... |

What you on this year Nige? We;re thinking next year at the Manx Classic for the Vdues........Would love to take the Vdue..but promised after last year it was the turn of the DB5R.........at least that can do 2 laps of the circuit without needing a petrol station.......... |

You couldnt "sneak" Brian into your hand luggage could you....he'd love to go?
HB4...Mmmm....that would be nice to see and out on the road also..will keep an eye out for you in the Pits....... |

See how helpful i can be... also handy at refuelling, checking tyre pressures, cleaning visors, holding brollies. Small enough to fit in hand luggage

Right then , only a few weeks to go and cureently Me/GK and 2Bims on the Island from sat 31st to wed 4th evening . Stayin in Douglas on the prom.
Nige is on the Island all week I think and also in Douglas , JRH also on the Island somewhere for the week I think.
Who else is there and where/when we going to have a get together. ????? |

Tuesday 3rd is shown as a "no race day" which is probably why you selected it...sounds good........Vorts brothers not coming this year so it does give us a free hour each morning that we'd normally have been hanging around waiting for him........Mind you as we are "hotelling" it this year ...we do have to make our way through the complimentary breakfast buffet served at out table....so maybe tight on time
Anybody over there this weekend? 16th-18th May? Look out for a pair of Db2's with open race pipes...so basically listen out ....and then look...If you hear what you think is a squadron of Lancaster Bombers flying overhead offloading a full compliment of heavy shells...then thats me and BimotaNige passing by......... |
