Hi, Anyone know where I can get some of those strange tube nuts that secure the seat sub frame to the main frame? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had them shake loose. Question

Not quite sure what you are on about without a picture....are you talking about Rubber Wellnuts? brass ferrule encased in rubber flanged piece that pushed into frame etc and bolt fixes into it.....then pulls tight?

If so just type rubber wellnut into Ebay with your chosen diameter...they're everywhere........

Yup...that seems to be the case...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bimota-Felgenschrauben-VA-poliert-1-Stuck-/160669923057?pt=DE_Motorradteile&hash=item2568ac76f1

which translates as

Bimota rim screws V2A polished head for Bimota Akront composite 2-piece rim wheels these were installed mainly in the models Tesi D1 and YB8 IE furano. These screws are custom made to these are no longer produced by the manufacturer, the installation is to invest on their own responsibility, or for racing. Shipping Worldwide FYI: The price stated is only for a screw

No dimensions though..and strictly for a different part...but I'm sure Laura would measure them if asked...price is for One...

They look very similar to the fixings that hold the rear suspension hoop to the swingarm on Ducati 851 and 888's. I bought some from Ducati a few years ago, they may still be available.
