An easy enough mistake to make........the rear pillion perches on Bimotas are hardly palacial pads for "well endowed rears"....I think the Italians gauge them on the size of "rears" for their 18 year old mistresses, rather than for their wives..........No handles, no straps...no comfort...deliberately designed to dissaude pillions...all to the benefit of the rider... Suppose at least that design allows for throw over panniers or a rear seat pannier hump.......Theres not one of my Bims that allows such....either having under seat exhausts to melt panniers...or no rear subframe to take the weight of a back pack......
Would like to ride down next year if they do it again.....heres hoping |

EC Thanks for the pics, it looks like you got yourself a good time.
I never knew that Bimota also made bicycles. Are they also ridiculously expensive _________________ vince

Maybe they have electric bicycles.
When will Bimota come with an electrical motorbike, it’s the future _________________ vince

You can go play with KTM's electric bikes here - http://www.yougodo.com/en/Ride-an-electric-KTM/activity/5cb8aee7-60eb-4351-97c0-39d10ef0c0d5.aspx - who'd have thought Motocross all eco friendly - riding in the Austrian alps and quiet enough not to drown out the sound of music! _________________ Now - SB6R, GSX1400, KTM 990 SuperDuke
Then - H2A Trip, GSX1000R , EXC400, TZ250, R1, TL1000S, 1100 Kat, RG500, RD500, GPZ 900R GPZ1100 UniT, GSX1100, Z650
It was like that when I got here |

Certainly its someones "one off" front and rear says Tesi 1D....but switchgear and other bits says modern parts added to make.........and a reference to "25" on various parts of the bike...25th Anniversary of Bimota or the Tesi? |

Also in the collection was the Moto 2 GP bike and the Gobert SB8 Racer. On the Sunday I found myself in the collection with nobody around so I had a checky sit on both of these. I thought the Moto 2 was actually quite comfortable. The SB8 felt big everywhere. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

hmmmmmmmm - I wonder where the rear shock is on that Tesi?
The swingarm has been fitted the wrong way round ( the eccentric adjusters clamping bolts are on the bottom of my bike's swingarm) - if it is a Tesi 1 arm...... _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

These would have been "pieros" bikes then of Vdue fame...as he has Goberts winning Sb8...and the HB4 also... |
