Hello all
I've just purchased the above bike direct from Bimota. I've been riding a Diavel AMG for nearly a year and was considering adding a second bike and was looking at a Panigale. I saw the DB9 for sale on eBay but the place in Preston couldn't be bothered to reply to my emails so I went direct to Bimota. Wow what a fantastic bike ! I'm so glad I bought this bike, looking forward to spending most of the summer on it Very Happy

Sonny.......well done..I bought mine from DMC (Preston) then after my purchase... another turned up. However, there are only 3 inc yours in the UK.
Although the factory "think" there may be a DB9 Carbon hiding in the UK!
Good luck with the bike.

Welcome to the Forum and I hope all goes well........As far as I know...DMC Preston has no more Bimotas...but more importantly they are no longer a Bimota dealer for the UK as of last year...sort of a shame as they were the only UK Bimota Dealer........This we hope is due to change as I know that Bimota are contacting all of their "old" bimota dealers that used to be and asking them if they wish to come on board again..........If you have any issues...then you've come to the right place

Yes..this now makes sense, you have the carbon one the factory were talking about when I ordered my performance exhaust.
Therefore there are two white and red ones plus your carbon factory in the UK.

Enjoy......

Sonny.......the performance exhaust is on a 8 week manufacture cycle and I will not get it until end of May/beginning of June. I spoke to the factory in March and that is when they told me of the DB9 count in the UK.
As much as Bimota factory are good to deal with...my little order wont even cover their weekly coffee bill....even though the performance exhaust costs more than the GDP of Greece .....most of the exhausts money will go to Arrow who are currently employing Angels to "kiss weld" the titanium in readiness of my visit to Rimini in June.

So, no opinion as to what it's like just yet....more to follow.

regards
Gavin

How did you go removing the pillion pegs?

Do you have any pix?

Is there a tail tidy made so that I can remove the 'trailer' on the back wheel? Smile

Tricolour..........I did away with the DB9 rear wheel number-plate thing.
You can see the tail tidy...luggage strap/ rails on the post " GOT PHOTO...CAN'T POST" in Bimota chat....
also the final version/ indicators/rear light and DB9 Performance exhaust in Factory Fitted exhaust.
....both articles originate from me..

I hope that this helps.
