Hi spike....just spoke to Ducati grease monkeys.......Ducati use quick release connectors on tanks....flow and return.....high pressure...in the same way as Bimota.....BUT....evidently they are not the same type...as they have the metal push button that you depress to release from the connector...as opposed to plastic locking tabs like on the Bimota.........I'd try Bob of Bimota Spirit in USA...a dealer as was for Bimota...but will have sold a few DB5 and Db6 in his time..........Strangely also on Ducatis....they fit the connectors the opposite way to Bimota....female end screws into base of Fuel pump/filter fitted in tank....with male end on the hose..........

The part you need is shown on the spare parts manual Drawing No. 30...although I only have the 1000cc mille spare parts brochure...and on there they show a threaded boss with male end...part No. 506172060...2 No.///although in the drg it shows a spring clip connecting the hose and not a quick release connector........Boat and chandelry shops may have similar that suit...or high pressure hose/pump manufacturers........best of luck........

The broken part is not available separately, you must buy the whole assembly!
I am getting a new base plate from MotoWheels, it has metal quick disconnects installed. It is CNC machined from billet, so not cheap, but will be permanent.

I received the new billet fuel pump base, and the metal quick releases are also dry break! You push the button and the fitting pops out and no fuel leakage!
