Hi all - after watching the motogp race in Misano recently we had a few appointments at private collections and the Bimota factory,in Rimini. While their past is very much tainted in the PR arena- I need to inform you that we were hosted by the GM of the factory for a tour that took no less than two hours .Two hours not because its a massive factory ,which it isnt but they were more than happy to answer any questions and go through the processes of manufacture etc etc.in detail as well as answer any questions re WSBK,BB3 production....all in all the visit was great and was wonderful to share in the passion that the factory have for these extra special, unique and exotic bikes .......it certainly made me more proud to be an owner(DB5R) and to better understand and see the handwork that makes each one so special.

congrats and well done

Awesome.
Good for you.
As with Ferrari do you have to be and prove ownership ?

I enjoyed the visit too.
I'm not sure if you need to be an owner but it helps if you can speak Italian (they do speak English)

What can I say, Lucky Bastards.
I too was at the Misano MotoGP which is a long way from OZ. I tried contacting Bimota for months before leaving and whilst I was over there but got no response at all. Wasn'y happy at the time and now I'm even more pissed off.

Cheers
