Brilliant news, called in to see some guys at two wheel engine services today, in Bridgend S. Wales. Spoke to Dene the owner and explained the problem they then came up with the theory that because only 2&3 were'nt firing possibly was'nt the ECU, most likely cause was the rev limiter, they suggested removing the Rev counter and see if it would run on all four. Guess what exactly right, put rev counter back on and back to 2 cylinders. All i need now is a new rev counter. Must give the guys a plug well impressed with the free advice, they have full machining facilities and are soon to install a rolling road. Thinking of installing a digital rev counter any suggestions?

Glad you got it sorted out, I wouldn't have known it was the rev counter.

Try a Koso unit http://www.digitalspeedos.co.uk/

Glad it has been sorted, perhaps it is something for everyone to make a mental note on, not always the obvious. Thank you all for the replies.
