anyone taken one out of a V-Dud tank?
In desperation, I am considering utilising a V-Dud pump unit but am not certain of how it is affixed to the fuel tank. The base plate dimensions are the same as the hole in the Tesi fuel cell, but I would need to make a mounting flange to fix it in place.
Anyone with pictures of tank / pump ? _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

thats the one I am thinking of buying for the Tesi, but I can't work out from the extra pictures the vendor sent me how it fixes in the V-Due tank. The vendor sent me the dimensions of the pump base - 70mm - which is the same as the hole in the Tesi fuel cell, but the original Tesi pump unit (which I obviously don't have) also has an external 3-bolt mounting flange of 100mm that I would have to make to fit the tank and the V-Due pump. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

Geekay, I'll check out the BB1 fuel pump as that fits inside the tank on the round sealing plate. Its a BMW GS650 one. they are likely to have a second hand one at the BMW spares place near Holmefirth - Motoworks I think it's called. You'd have to check flow rate etc as it feeds a twin carb single, but plenty comes out on an open pipe!! _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Pot off 5 days ago - so some intensive physio now for a few months as I cant pick up the mug, never mind one with tea in it!!. At least its reattached and looks pretty good. Pm me an email address and I'll send you a picture of the BB1 fuel pump plate to see if its the same.
Trust you are well _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Thanks for the heads-up on the BMW pump Nigel - checked a few on ebay but they are unsuitable as the pump assembly won't fit in the hole in the Tesi fuel cell.
Was OK until I did my first session of "green-laning" on the North Yorks Moors yesterday - most of the green lanes were brown, gloopy mud and I ache like buggery now!
