Now that I own a y2000 Bimota Mantra I am looking to upgrade the bike to a single Ballistic Battery setup under the seat and need to know how to remove the 2 Battery setup 'easily' from under the Petrol Tank? Also if anyone has any tips on fashioning a battery box for under the seat any tips would be appreciated along with tips on re-routing the wiring also?

I will also be looking to upgrade the headlight setup on the bike to a slimline ballast HID setup - any recommendations?

If the existing setup the same as a standard Ducati Monster 900 or something more exotic?

Hmm, it's been a long while since I worked on a Mantra, but I seem to remember that the battery holders are attached to the frame. That means removal of the fuel tank and that means removal of the handlebars etc etc etc.

There might be enough space under the seat next to the shock on the left side for a lightweight battery. Just make your own battery box.
