2bims... Are they carbon mirrors on your db2? |
Yes indeed Brian.....same style mirrors as Db4 SB6 etc...but made in carbon....dont have the 'fins" on the underside as the moulded plastic ones....I was once anal enough to weigh and compare and contrast against the plastic ones....around 2/3rds of the weight....A nice to have and I've toyed with replacing them with standard to "preserve" them...but heck...really.....They have a Gold "b" bimota sticker on the body mirror side....came with the bike...only ever seen one other Bimota with them...and that was an archive photo of a SB7....The previous owner of the bike was a nutter....money was never an object in his pursuit of his passion in upgrading already fantastic bikes.... |
Well, they're very nice mate! I've never seen these carbon mirrors before. Standard plastic mirrors are hard enough to come by _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Yep, but then by 2pm on day 2 we were running out of things for them to do and seemed like a good idea. Kept them happy for about 30 minutes . The youngest was even telling punters off for touching the bikes. |

I wonder... is this the biggest show of different Bimota bikes in one place in recent history? _________________ Bimota DB7, Bimota DB5 Mille, Ducati 916, Ducati M900, Benelli Tornado Tre |

Well...I wasnt at the BEW last year...as I believe that would have been close for sure, if not greater.......Theres often a good turn out in Japan...so all we would try and claim is largest showing in UK/Europe...with the exception of the BEW I would presume.....
Crazy thing is , if we had more time, space and transport...there could be another 15 Bimotas added to the number we collectively take down...but that would be just showing off really.... You know what Bimotas are like CNC...you start with one...and rarely does it stop there.... |
