Hi

Welcome to the Bimota forum.

I couldn't find any current Bimota forums (although there is a mailing list) so thought it best to start one.

Please feel free to join in and spread some knowledge.

All the best

Keith

Hey Keith,

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for setting this up.
I don't have a Bimota but I've been looking for a good and decent priced SB8Rs since a year or two and I believe/hope a purchase is getting closer.

Let's hope this place will take off!

Same here. There used to be an forum on http://www.bimota-central.com/ but that seems to have long disappeared.

All the best

Hi from a YB10 Dieci rider. Just spent the past few months stripping the bike down, redoing valves etc and finally getting in on the road this weekend past. Fueling still is out; but need to get it onto the dyno.

Have had great fun working on the bike - you come to respect how well they are engineered.

Hi

Some good engineering, and some infuriating bits. Trying to get the bodywork back in place without stressing it too much.

The fueling is out on mine, but I have to fit new cables for the EXUP (and a new pulley wheel) before it is worth setting it up. Problem is probably worn attomiser tubes in the carbs (the FZR engine is well know for it).

All the best

Keith
