|
|
Hello,
As I'm considering buying a YB11 or YB9 with more than 10 years, can somebody tell me if its easy to find on the market fork seals for these Bimotas?
I remember back on 2002 that it was really difficult to get fork seals for a SB6...(1994 model)
Thanks for your precious help.

Its the YB11 fork seals that are really difficult to find....and if you can they cost over 50 GBP a pair.....Its coz they are 51mm diameter and no one else used that diameter....also its said that Paoli had tolerance issues with the tubes and they are out of spec on some models meaning that seals blow easily....Not heard of ay problems getting YB9 seals |

Amore Moto can supply seals for the YB11 no problem. I have a pair from them but I haven't fitted them yet, I'm told they've supplied others which have worked ok. _________________ Pud |

You can use a 2.0" seal I'm told, which at 50.8mm is very slightly undersize. Not tried it myself but not heard any horror stories either _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |

I fitted the 2 inch (50.8mm) ones with no issue, think they were about £15 pair.
So always a work around to originals |
