May I make a suggestion which might save you some money dude.
Some insulating tape will sort your light out and some stick on numbers will sort out the speedo problem. You can even use masking tape on the speedo if you don't have time to get something off ebay.
Getting it to a ducati dealer to do the MOT would also help with these slightly dodgy fixes!
You can pull it all off after the event.
Cheers

Hi
Might be worth looking through the classic bike mags to find someone who can make up a new speedo face. There used to be a company called Redial UK who would do this but they seem to have disappeared.
All the best

I had Redial make a new mph face for my first SB6......
It was close but didn't quite match the original in so many ways.
Wouldn't spend that sort of money with them again |

If it's a mechanical speedo you can get a Motrax unit to fit to the speedo. The gold ones fit at the bottom the blue at the top but make sure theres enough room by the clock if you go for the blue type.
The sweep of the needle isn't as much but you can still read it. I use a gold one on my FZR400 import. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
