|
|
Hello to all - new on the forum - starting with a want.
Looking for a Racing V-Due EF - intent to use and pamper.
Ducati for some time now but looking for a Bimota carb two stroke model to ride on cct and poss to use on road if poss and if road going parts can be had etc.
If you have or know of a sale please let me know - pm / e mail / mob -> 07505561393.
I've always used my bikes for their intentended factory build / design and have maintained them to the highest standard - one thing that I'm sure all here appreciate - I'm pretty sure that the Racing EF will top the 'are you messing about with that bike again' charts!

Reay primed for that - I have been arround Ducati long enough to have had a few headaches!
Sounds as if you may have a few examples to share.

I like Bimotas and I can close my eye's to a lot of things but the V-Due has the poteinial to not just soak up money but look georgeous while it does it.
Buy a Spondon RG500 at least it will run and ride.
Buy a V-Due and put a KTM RC8 engine in the frame _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Yes -Sobbbb - just pipped by an initial inquiry who saw and bought it - I did the gentlemanly thing and didn't say I'd give the full asking price - wish really I'd have done a deal there and then but the first person to see it bought it. One day I will stop thinking about it!! This was a classified add with no bidding as such - a BIN price would probably have seen me picking it up by now |

I can see your point but I'm more convinced now that the last V-Due Racing EF [carburation not injection] was as reliable as it could be - my own experiences with two stokes are from way back [my old D14/4 Bantam] and more recently with a race set up RD350LC. The smell and sound of a hot two stroke can't be beaten. Ahhhh - can't wait!!
I think the earlier V-Due may have been the subject of manufacturing not quite matching the blue print but I stand to be corrected as there are experts out there.

Importing from Germany
Could anyone advise the procedures firstly to import from Germany - would I need a COC and if bought from a private seller how would I get it.
I would look to use for road and track but if bike was reg in an EU country I'm pretty sure such UK registering procedures would be more straightforward.
Looking firstly at the initial importing and tax issues i.e differences if bike is new or used etc.
