Looking for some lightweight wheels for my bike.
Have been in contact with BST, but 2500 EUR for a set of CF wheels for a sunday driver is too much.... |

Go alloy with Dymag then.....cheaper...say 1400-1500 euros...and only marginally heavier.... |

Thanks for the tip
The Dymags are £1375 ex vat ( EUR 1860 ) + shipping
Still expensive...
Where do they cost 1400-1500? |

They do special offers from time to time...just have to keep a look out for them...........a fair few folk have fitted Dyamgs or BSTs.....Dymags come as a straight fit, spacers etc...BST's dont apparently.....and if fitting carbon fibre wheels a lot of people say the speedo stops reading...even with the bolts fitted in the discs............ |

Order the right BST'S and they fit straight on.
No problem with my speedo either?
However........ I feel that BST'S are too light for road use.
My suggestion would be Marchesini 's and you will still notice the difference.
As always your choice. |

I have OZ on my RS250 and I love them.
I really like the looks of the Marchesini's, but I don't think they make
them for the Vdue? |

I rang a few places when I was looking for wheels.
BST and Marchesini said they would no longer supply Bimota/vdue fitments as they had a number of fitment issues , so did not bother any more. I got dymag 7 spoke alloys in the end , ( I did a weight comparison , http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3913&highlight=wheels ) , and although I have carbon on other bikes and noticed difference , the lighter wheels on the vdue are more noticeable . They make a quick steering bike BLOODY quick . |

Hi all,
Trev do you know what the two sizes are. I measured mine ( 20mm) but was wondering did they replace it with a larger one for strength or a smaller lighter one? _________________ 2SMOKE |
