Just saying hello as I am new on here abd also i noticed this on Autotrader http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/200921334947360/sort/priceasc/usedbikes/make/bimota/postcode/so237sl/radius/1500/page/1?logcode=p
I always resisted tis model as I felt the front lights were not sleek enough but this one seems to have that sussed. Does anyone know if it is a homebrew or a little known factory option for later models?

PS I also notice some people wanted info from a Mantra workshop manual. I have one of these so if you let me know what bits you need copied I will see if I can find them.

It is definitely a homebrew - it has been remodelled and resprayed, the wheels have been painted too. I would really like to know what has been done to the engine/tuning.

There are a couple of posts about this bike, it has been on sale for some time now.

I read a couple of articles on the SB8R and there was an intention in the design was to produce something aggressive looking rather than elegant. The guy who designed the bike pierluigi marconi joined Aprilia after Bimota folded and produced two or three bikes which looked quite similar from the front including the precursor to the mille and the Tuono.

I think out of those 3 bikes the SB and sbrs is the best looking and succeeded in its bid to intimidate.
